Fast and excellent work. We needed a certified English translation of a company register extract. We were opening a bank account in Austria, and the bank suddenly realised (at the last moment) that they required an official translation. Martina Levey delivered it within two hours.

Martina and her team translated my railway guide. In my view, the hardest part to translate are the picture captions — just one or two sentences under each image. Sometimes I wrote more, sometimes less, but in Czech I kept it short, factual and to the point, no unnecessary fluff. To make it more interesting, the online guide to Prague’s Main Station was originally written for Czech readers, so I didn’t need to explain local details. And then came the challenge: translate it so it’s not only correct in English but also clear and meaningful. For Martina, that meant looking not just at the text but also at the pictures, sometimes adding a bit of context to describe the Czech environment. On top of that, she translated all the background texts (SEO) — and made them attractive for search engines too. Well, she must have done a great job, because the increase in website traffic — and in my account — was immediate.
